Balochistan Rural Support Program


Since 1991, Balochistan Rural Support Program (BRSP) has been working in the districts located along the Pakistan-Afghan border, including Quetta and Killa Saifullah and - since 2001 - in Sherani, Pishin, Zhob and Loralai districts, supporting communities in setting up and running their own community institutions and integrating and diversifying agriculture, livestock, irrigation, drinking water, sanitation, community mobilization and organizations for poverty eradication.

The Swiss Foundation for Mine Action (FSD) is an international mine action organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. This private, independent, and non-profit organization was created in 1997. Since then, it has implemented a number of mine clearance projects in more than 15 different countries.

Mission East


Mission East (ME) is a Danish international relief and development NGO founded in 1991 and active in Tajikistan and Afghanistan for over 15 years. Mission East strategically focusses on disaster risk reduction, rural community development, human rights programmes, with relief programming as disasters arise. The rural community development programme includes livelihood development activities, water, sanitation and hygiene-related activities, micro-business development and food security projects.

Organization for Relief Development


Organization for Relief Development (ORD) is an Afghan non-profit, non-sectarian and non- political humanitarian organization founded in 2003. ORD's goal is to support sustainable development by building social and economic capacity - including infrastructure - in Afghan rural communities. ORD believes that communities should be at the center of any successful development strategy.

 

ORD has worked in social and rural development in highly unstable areas such as Paktya, Khost, Ghazni, Wardak, Kabul, Balkh, Jowsjan, Saripul and Faryab provinces. ORD's ongoing activities cover the fields of education, health, infrastructure and agriculture, including irrigation.
